See here's the thing, that laptop is an entry level laptop as far as gaming is concerned, and entertainment really given the low resolution screen. The CPU is quite slow at 2.1ghz, the dedicated graphics card is entry level with performance of about the desktop class R5 240, which wasn't even that good at gaming in 2008 much less 2017, and the APU's graphics is only slightly faster, so combined you're talking about a low end gaming capability, with 1280x720 at very low to maybe medium detail levels.
Compute cores includes the processor cores and gpu cores, they both are two different kind of cores. 6 GPU cores has already been activated, when GPU related computing is performed, you have no ways to disable them, or issue which to enable or which to disable. I think this APU does not meet your game's requirement.
