Describe your issue:
My issue has to do with the new ReLive recording function or my hardware.
The problem is that I can't record (videos) in 1440p with my 290x. Why is that? Is it some kind of error, or are resolutions above 1080p elusively for the newer cards? If it is an error, or if it is because ReLive is in Beta, or if there is something I have to enable or disable in order for it to work, than I'd love some help with that .
If higher resolutions are for newer cards only, then I would love to know why. I'm going to be angry if AMD disabled higher resolutions for cards which are not current gen just to make it "elusive" . That's the kind of thing AMD doesn't do, which is what makes me like AMD in the first place. Be like the others and I'm gone.
Besides, what's the point of locking out the 290x, which has about the same performance as the RX 480? I'm not going to upgrade to a card if I get 5 - 10% better performance. Especially since I paid a lot for this card.
I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this question.
Thanks in advance for an answer
