EDIT: Direct X error seems to think my Graphics card is being 'physically removed' however, that is not the case. the error message isn't always the same, sometimes it says something about a shader cache, but it always includes that the video card has been physically removed. I have attached a screenshot of the dx error message window.

Hello I am experiencing similar Direct X error crashes since past months with new drivers 16.12.2.

If you ask me, I liked it before everything turned into graphs and settings. It was simple and it worked.

You saw your temps, clocks and fan speed, now its all cluttered with irrelevant info for those such as myself who do not over clock.

Battlefield 1 DX error crashes are guaranteed to occur on new giants shadow map usually within first few minutes or reaching the center of map.

Was able to finish a round on giants shadow running on DX 11 mode. switched back to dx 12 mode, played a full round on sinai desert, next map in rotation was giants shadow, as predicted a crash occurred near the center of the map as usual.

same dx error happened on the Ballroom Blitz, and monte grappa maps, looks like the error does not seem to discriminate on maps.

Dx error crash has occurred on map Empires Edge twice.
