chipset drivers not compatible with Windows 7?

I just downloaded AMD 9xx series chipset drivers for Windows 7 64bit from this page: Chipset

When I try to install the drivers, the .exe won't even run. Windows gives me an error message that says "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."

That's all I get. Running under compatibility mode for Windows 7, XP, Vista, etc.. does nothing.

This seems to me to be an bug on AMD's part. Does anybody know of a way to fix this, or does anybody know where I can get a slightly older version of the chipset drivers? I can't find any way to browse through the available drivers, only the newest drivers.
