having an issue with my new amd rx470 display driver

  • Display Devices
    • Acer S211HLbd, DVI to DVI, 1920 x 1080 and Horizontal Refresh Rate 30-80KHz Vertical Refresh Rate 5-75Hz
    • One line for each display device connected
  • Motherboard
    • ASUS M5A99X EVO AM3+ AMD 990X
    • AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb Quad-Core 3.4 GHz
  • Power Supply Unit  Make, Model & Wattage
    • CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W

Describe your issue:

  • just got the RX470 and i am switching from a Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 ive already uninstalled the drivers from Nvidia and i am trying to install the drivers for AMD ive tried with the disc and the most up to date ones from the website and the Display drivers fail every time and yes i using the correct os and bit selection but i dont know why its failing i have never had issues with installing drivers for the Nvidia before any help on this issue?
