I recently RMA'd my r9 290 from ASUS, which was a reference card and got one with an ASUS DirectCU cooler back. Now everytime I move my mouse I hear a static electrical noise comming from my gpu (not the speakers), expect if I enable the display pointer trails in the windows settings.
Here is a video of a guy having the exact same problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Le_RUssETns
I tried changing USB Ports and also a different Mobo, but nothing helps. Using integrated graphics instead of the asus card fixes the noise. It's 100% the gpu. I just don't get how the pointer trails setting removes the noise...
Does anyone know a fix for this?
