    gpu reaching 90 Degrees

I have been having a problem with my computer for a while now where my computer screen will freeze which leads to my computer freezing completely. Only recently I have been looking into my issue and doing simple tests to see what could be causing this problem. According to a program i have just started using while I am playing some game my GPU can reach temperatures up to 90 degrees.

If these temperatures are reached can this cause my computer to freeze, if so what can i do to help with the temperature

when the problem occurs the screen freezes with audio still playing after about 5 seconds audio stops and the screen goes black but my computer is still running. would this be a GPU issue or something completely different? This problem only occurs when under high stress and happens about 1-2 times a day.

I have an AMD Radeon R9 200 series (3 Fans)
