      Hi,

I have been running debian and have had an issue where a hardware error is detected and the computer performs a warm reboot. This appears as follows in the system log:

Dec 14 20:32:03 debian kernel: [  300.018634] mce: [Hardware Error]: Machine check events logged

However when I go to look at the log I am unable to as this processor is not supported:

Dec 14 20:27:24 debian mcelog[677]: mcelog: AMD Processor family 21: Please use the edac_mce_amd module instead.

I see that the mcelog website (mcelog -- FAQ ) under the heading "mcelog does not start on newer AMD systems anymore" says that perhaps support is coming.  I just want to encourage AMD to work with these guys so I am able to review the mcelog again in order to determine what is happening on my system.

I should also note that I am running an Acer E5-552G-T324 laptop.
