AMD Radeon R3SL480G SSD: faulty temperature sensor?

Question asked by ldvignolo on Nov 30, 2016

My new SSD AMD Radeon R3SL480G is showing always exactly 30 celsius degrees (both on crystaldiskinfo under windows and also hddtemp under linux) however, the drive sometimes feels much hotter than that. Then, I wonder how would I know and prevent overhitting if I can not get the actual temperature of the drive through the sensor. Could the sensor be faulty? The system is a lenovo G580 laptop. I would appreciate any suggestion on this, since I didn't find any information on the web. Thank you very much. Regards.
