I just bought a Samsung KS8000 UHD TV after reading it supports 4k @ 60Hz @ 4:4:4. I also bought bought the Club3D displayport to HDMI 2.0 adapter since my GPU only support HDMI 1.4. By default I can see the GPU outputting 4:4:4 but refresh rate is limited to 30 Hz. Turning on the UHD Color option from the TV allows it to output at 60 Hz, but text quality is clearly worse and 4:2:2. Radeon additional settings do not show any options for pixel format, but I can see the difference in quality using the widely available test PNG. I am running the latest 16.11.4 drivers. I tried using HDMI 1 and 2 ports, and also two different HDMI cables (one of them came with my PS4 Pro, which worked perfectly with my TV. I would really appreciate it if someone from the community or AMD has any ideas to solve this issue.
Did you get the firmware update from Club3D?
And change the HDMI input type to PC?
