Hello, i just bought a Power Color Red dragon Radeon rx460 and when i installed the new drivers, uninstalled the old, made sure my power supply was above the limit(which it is), made sure my DVI to HDMI cable was plugged in and secure, and checked and made sure i had a 64-bit system then i turned it on but, the monitor would not accept it. The fans would spin but the monitor only say check video cable and then it will go back to sleep. the monitor is a HP 2011x backlit and when i put in my old graphics card it works just fine but this one just doesn't seem to work. Please help.
First, Is the 6 pin power cable connected to the card?
Try another cable or two, try a DVI-I to DVI-D. (sometimes DVI to HDMI cables can art funny)
Try a different monitor.
Try Video card in a different computer.
If none of these work you may have a bad card.
