Same here. In my humble opinion nVidia control panel works a lot better. Get hold of any util like RadeonPro to do this.

It always did.
I'm already familiar with RP. I was kinda hoping that AMD's own software actually *can* do what it's meant to, but obviously it cannot...
Is this ever going to be fixed or not? What is the point in all these game profiles if they don't even work?! I'm speechless...
After updating to 17.12.1, then instantly creating a game specific profile and launching that game I found out that the profile was actually working. Then, after launching ATI Tray Tools once, the profile stopped working even when ATT was off and neither rebooting nor resetting the driver to factory defaults fixed it, but only a complete driver uninstallation using DDU did.
That said, it seems that even though ATT has some [useful] features that still work to this day like hardware color tweaking, launching it and probably other outdated software like RadeonPro at least once causes permanent corruption to some of the drivers settings that cannot be repaired even by restoring factory defaults in Radeon Settings.
Although ATI Tray Tools worked just fine with Catalyst Control Center I must apologize for blaming AMD for something that seemingly wasn't their fault.
