    MSI R9 280x - Does not update to 16.9.2 or 16.11.2 - PLEASE HELP!

    big.b

      Hi folks!

Been having this problem for quite a while now and I got a bit fed up by it.

My graphics is MSI R9 280x Twin Frozr and when 16.9.2 was released I wanted to update to it but it did not install. I uninstalled the driver completely (DDU) and installed it again - still same issue.

Now 16.11.2 is out and I hoped that I will be lucky as my Mafia 3 is not playable and once again - same error.

Can someone please help me sort this out?

I have now downloaded the driver and ran it as administrator but still same error.

              Hi Ray,

I did mention above that I downloaded 16.11.2, ran it as administrator but had the same error.

Latest development is that AMD Radeon Settings programme crashes!!!
