With the recent launch of Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, I am having terrible framerates in both games.
In Battlefield 1 (With settings on "low") I am getting about 16-25 fps. In CoD: IW, with settings on Medium/Low, I am getting a range of fps from 25 - 80 fps. I have updated the drivers to the latest version. My rig can handle most games well enough.
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-88-GM_UD2H
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955
GPU: Asus Radeon R7 370 4gb Strix
Ram: 2* 4gbs + 2* 2gbs (1333mhz)
I have tried running BF1 in DX12 and without, but both without any benefits. Also, I am getting FPS drops in CoD:IW. Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
I suspect your your memory speed (1333Mhz)could be hampering the performance of your CPU. Use MSI Afterburner to check your GPU usage during gaming. If it's low, then that's an indication.
