Hello , i have gpu GV-R785OC-2GD.If i work, all are good, but when i enter to games (mafia3,dirt rally and others ),i will see black screen with stripes or blue screen or videocard off,but pc is working.Help me please
What you have described sounds like a potentially faulty GPU. Run through the troubleshooting steps of the document below, using DDU to remove your current drivers, to see if the situation improves.
Troubleshooting Common AMD Graphics Driver Installation Problems
I did all that you have written. But it did not help. I read that many owners of these cards such problems, the first day of the purchase. But no one told what to do. Maybe you have other options? I flashing the BIOS, playing with tension, all in vain. But any tests, at least for a day keeps excellent, so it is unlikely in the core of the problem, I guess they's software error.
Stripes on the GPU usually indicate a hardware fault, likely memory. Try underclocking the GPU core and memory by 300Mhz to see if that reduces the issue.
You're right, it is better, but what adjustments to make to the losses were minimal. Thanks.P.S. Yesterday during tests in the games, she just turned off, no stripes)
I'm glad to hear that.
Problem is back. 10 minutes in mafia 3 and i see again black screen with sound, but the sound was quiter
I would explore warranty options.
Basic settings 975/1200
but still, why the tests are excellent, though a day they will stand. And most likely it's malevolent manufacturer, inflated rate, yet the card is not ready
Can you put some in-game screenshots????
Dirt Rally looks pretty bad on my AMD RX480 too, its dotty\grainy, changes color on the orange fences, vegetation has no detail.
If your talking about that its actually a AMD problem known for years on different AMD cards even from the HD old series.
Mafia III has lighting problems where the shadows change from day to night, back to day very strange (dont know if they fixed it yet), if that is the problem is normal (I played with Nvidia GTX570 and did that, played with RX480, continue giving the problem, but on AMD the sky looks way worse than on my GTX570, it is grainy).
Take screenshots to see what kind of artifacts you have.
But most likely you probably have a faulty GPU, however it might be other software problems causing the issue. Have seen same artifacts appearing on corrupted DX files and reinstalling DirectX fixed those files and the artifacts.
Do a Furmark on the GPU and check if artifacts appear after some time, like black squares, lines... and keep checking temps, if nothing appears for a bit of time, let it stay for an hour and keep checking for artifacts (If temps get too high, like 90Cº stop Furmark).
I tell you and no screenshots tell artifacts have with day and night, all very grainy and every minute in the mafia 3 deteriorates schedule, furmark map was 3 hours and not heated above 62 °, in which this departure was not, dirt rally like the problem went away when the frequency dropped, but there was no test for over an hour
