Wanted to know if there is a link that would show if GPU/CPU/MOBO are compatible before buying a new GPU card?

I've been trying to search the net to see if I would have compatibility issues if I purchased a new Radeon RX 480 GAMING X 4G card.  Not been able to find any specific links that would provide the information other than occasional problems others have had (i.e. CPU bottlenecks, MOBO BIOS does not support card, etc.).  If anyone has a link to a site or knows if the card I want should work to its maximum potential please let me know.  Thanks.
