This is how amd settings looks like after crash. Only get fixed after restart.
the voltage reading is probably caused by the software crashing. Your Target fan speed is set well under what it should be set at and is what is probably the causing the graphics card to crash.
These setting should help to stop in game crashing.
set temperature to manual
set max temperature to 83C,
leave target temperature at 80C.
Set Power limit to +50%.
set Fan Speed to manual
Set Target fan speed to 3500.
Set minimum fan speed to 1600.
84C and up will throttle the gpu.
Trying to keep gpu temperature under 80C will create too much noise.
I use these settings for my reference card and have had no problems since
I don't want to use wattman because of it's license agreement.(as far as i get using wattman voids my warranty)I'll try to install more chasis fans.
All the screens says you could damage your card if theses settings are improperly set and could void your warranty. Using any other software to do this will have the same effect. You damage your card by altering settings the warranty maybe void
Card, as finished product, shoud work fine enough on factory settings w/o any additional setup that potentially violates it's warranty agreement, isn't it?
the voltage is definitely a bug in HWMon does the same with my setup.
The HTML5 player used on most of the websites has been causing problems for both AMD and NVidia since it was first introduced.
You can try turning off HW acceleration for the web browser, this may help for the internet.
If you don't want to alter any of the settings on the graphics card you would be best to return it to were you bought it from.
I see the same thing on my XFX RX 480 RS in HWMonitor. I am also experiencing similar black screens and crashes such as yours. Every once in a while instead of that, the screen will go black with red outlines and then blue screen entirely. I get a TDR_VIDEO_FAILURE error when this happens. So far reinstalling drivers, windows, etc. has not helped. I did not have these issues with my previous HD 5700.
