I use Asus R9 290 GPU
My "working" baseline AMD driver is 18.104.22.168 (06/12/2013). If I replace this driver with any new one I get frequent BSoD (driver stuck in recursion loop - error code 0x000000EA (0xFFFFFA8018AD9060, 0X0000000000000000, 0X0000000000000000, 0X0000000000000000) ).
I have Intel 9 Series based chipset and i7 4770K processor. Motherboard is Asus Z97-A. My .NET Framework version is 4.6.2.
Whenever I try to update my driver I do full clean install, that means - fully deleting my existing driver using this guide. I repeteadly make sure that there is no AMD GPU references left in registry, before I proceed with installing new driver.
I, however, continue to have the same problem - GPU randomly crashes with BSoD after working for 5-10 minutes.
If you're using 7 or 8.1, create a second partition and install (but do not activate) a clean copy of Windows to rule out a corrupted system.
