Artifacts/texture glitches from brand new Sapphire RX 480 Nitro + 4GB

      Hi Everyone,

I need some help with my brand new card, having some serious issues across all games  with graphics artifacts & texture glitches.

Video of issues here - Video - Sendvid & IMG 6868 - Sendvid

I'm running via HDMI to a Asus monitor( https://www.asus.com/au/Monitors/PB278Q/ ) which runs up to 60hz.

I have tried a different PCI port + various Radeon drivers, but same issue occurs. Before I take it back to the computer shop for testing, would be great to get any feedback if someone has fixed a similar issue.

is this happening just in games or all the time. I have seen a lot of these  issues caused by over heating components on the motherboard. I would suggest leaving the side off the case and using a desktop fan to blow air into it. If this helps you just need more cooling in your case. If this does not help you will have to look at other things. Are you over clocking the cpu/ram. It could be the graphics card, but it could also be the motherboard, cpu, ram or psu. Is this a new setup or have you replaced anything. The easiest would be to put the graphics card in a different computer and check it that way. Have you another graphics card to test your computer with, need one that will use at least the same amount of power.

          check all cables

          reseat graphics card

reset bios could be bad setting in bios

check for over heating problems, check temps on graphics card, cpu, voltage regulators

Increase fan speeds on graphics card / case fans

          have graphics card checked

swap ram around, if you have more thank one stick alternate between them taking one out . and check results

          swap out graphics card

swap out psu could be a failing psu

          swap out motherboard

Reset your computer back to first install using window recovery,

just go through the list  and try which ever is the easiest first
