High idle power consumption on 390X -- Default memory clock stays at 1500Mhz at idle causing additional 50-watt power draw (compared to 300Mhz mem clock).

I'm not finding any power consumption controls in this new Crimson interface to address an excessive idle power consumption issue. My 390X defaults to a memory clock of 1500 MHz while idle, boosting power consumption by 50W over a minimum memory clock setting of 150MHz. To cut this excessive power consumption I'm forced to manually "underclock" the memory. This can't be right – what am I overlooking here?
