AMD 7800 3 Monitors not working

Question asked by lhoward96 on Sep 26, 2016

I moved my computer into another room and back into the same room, now the 3rd monitor isn't working. I'm using Windows 10, with an AMD FX-6300 black edition processor. When attempting to extend the display on Display Settings it says "The display settings could not be saved. Please try a different combination of display settings."

Video Card:

Driver:  AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series

    DirectX Driver Name:  aticfx32.dll

    Driver Version:  15.200.1062.1004

    DirectX Driver Version:

I believe it's a Sapphire HD 7770. I'm using a DVI to DVI cable in the DVI port, a DVI to HDMI cable in the HDMI port, and a DVI to DVI cable with a DVI to DP active adapter. In this configuration, it worked before I moved the computer. I've got 2 HP W2072a 20" monitors and one AOC 20".

Here are the steps I've gone through:

- Restarted my computer

- Unplugged each input and plugged it back it.

- Able to use 2 monitors, but not all 3 at once.

- Uninstalled drivers and reinstalled.

- Uninstalled all AMD software and reinstalled.

Like I said, it worked before and I don't understand why it's not working now even after all the steps I'm going through.
