I have a HP ELITEbook 745 G3 AMD machine. I enabled the DASH. For management, I am using sccm2012. But all the dash tools except "Discover" are disabled. Can someone help me.
DASH appears to be a tool provided by HP. so I would suggest you contact them for support with that application.
No, it's not a tool provided by HP. I have a VM. And inside VM I installed SCCM2012. Then added the plugin. But the DASH features are showing disabled.
I am not sure what support you are expecting for an independent application that does not work properly within a virtual machine.
I want to do all DASH manageability features. And compare with intel AMT. And give a analysis as part of my school project report.
Please explain what DASH is.
DASH (Desktop and mobile Architecture for System Hardware) is a client management standard released by the DMTF (Distributed Management Task Force). DASH is a web services based standard for secure out-of-band and remote management of desktops and mobile systems.
I got it from below like :
You are running DASH within a Virtual Machine Have you tried running it outside the VM ? I would suggest you contact HP for support with this issue.
My server is in VM. AMT works fine for me. My client is a HP machine. So you are saying HP ppl can help me?
Yes, the system builder is the one who should be helping you with this application.
