RX 460 H264 DXVA decoding malfunction:

If i play H.264 Video with DVBViewer or Kodi and LAV or ffMPEG codecs with H.264 dxva enabled - I run into a issue.

You can see the issue in this video  min 04:19 from another guy.

DXVA H264 problem - YouTube

I know only 1 workarounds to solve the issue but it is dissatisfactory.

1.) disabled dxva for only h.264 in the LAV codecs.

From now on the video is decoded by the cpu but it works.

Anybody have a better solution or knows if AMD worked at this issue ?

My System:

Asus Maxiumus VIII Gene

Intel Skylake i7 6700T without Intel Turbo Mode set in the Bios

16 GByte DDR4

Sapphire RX 460 4G

Samsung TV via 2m HDMI 2.0 4K HighSpeed UHD premium cable

Nachricht geändert durch Martin because the second Workaround has nothing to do with the h.264 dxva problem.
