I managed to write a whole essay about this but I accidentally pressed cancel... Anyway I'm too lazy to rewrite everything so I'll keep it short. Is the advertised 2.00 GHz on the control panel system GPU clock or memory clock? And is there anyway I can increase the maximum overclock for GPU and memory? At the moment the highest is 950 MHz and 1000 MHz respectively, where does the 2.00 GHz come from? I'm not that worried about the cooling as my room is basically Narnia in terms of temperature.
The current system displayed on the control panel is:
Processor: AMD A8-6410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics - 2.00 GHz (quad core if that's a neccessary info)
RAM: 8 GB
x64-based processor, Windows 8.1
The system displayed on Radeon settings is:
AMD Radeon(TM) R5 Graphics (Primary) : Memory Clock 800 MHz, Core Clock 800 MHz
AMD Radeon HD 8500M (Linked) : Memory Clock 900 MHz, Core Clock 850 MHz
I'm not a computer magician so I would really like the answers to be in simple English, thanks in advance!
Your AMD A8-6410 APU has a stock clock frequency of 2.0Ghz and a maximum boost frequency of 2.4Ghz.
