Able to run DX12 titles with driver v16.5.1 but when upgrading to a newer version the applications crash. The following error get's generated when running the newer drivers. (v16.9.1)

Based on recommendations from other users I've tried running the application using the newer drivers in combination with the amdxc64.dll file from the 16.5.1 drivers. However it nets the same results and crashes on boot. From what I've been able to read it seems like the newer drivers use the SSE4.2 CPU instruction set for DX12 implementation, where as the older version does not. However this is me merely quoting what I've seen posted on other forums.
