Using R9 290.

I recently updated Crimson to latest version, 16.9.1 and now I get a BSOD when Powering on my TV (connected via HDMI).  Monitors connected via DVI or DP are not affected.

If I power on the TV prior to starting the PC, there is no problem.  The BSOD only occurs if PC is already running when the TV is powered on.

Details are:

Windows 7

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

The device driver got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly.

Please check with your hardware device vendor for any driver updates.

I ran amdcleanuputility.exe and installed 16.7.3 and the error was still present.

After rolling back to 16.6.1 - I am no longer having the issue.

Assuming there are changes somewhere between 16.6.1 and 16.7.3 that is causing this, is there anything I can do in my configuration to mitigate or prevent this from occurring with current drivers?
