Sometimes I get a red screen and then the computer restarts. Pls help. Sry for my English.
Is anything on your system overclocked? A Red screen can sometimes point towards instability with your CPU or system memory.
I have a XFX RX 480 factory Oc.
Msi H170 gaming m3.
Intel i5 6500.
Kingston hyper x 2133Hz 8GB.
I have been playing CIV on the DX 9 and i have not experienc a a crash. My CPU is at 100% on the DX 9 , DX 10 and DX 11
Okay, can you try going into Wattman and lowering the core clock of your RX480 down to 1200Mhz and check to see if the same issue occurs? If you have not already, please ensure you set the power limit in Wattman to +50%.
I have a 550W power supply.
Do I still up the power limit and I can only have a 1235 MHz.
Yes, increase the power limit to +50%. This will allow the GPU to maintain its boost clock.
After playing the game i got a video_tdr_failure and the whole pc crashed
Did you lower the core and memory clock in Wattman?
What is the make and model of your PSU?
What driver version are you using?
