new here so apologies in advance if this is the wrong area...
I've just bought my fist AMD powered PC and I've tried Windows 10 for the first time (been using XP for 15-odd years).
I need to run some old software so I have to use the 32 bit version, the PC has16 Gig of RAM but only 4 Gig is available in 32 bit.
Will this processor run Physical Address Extension (PAE) please?
If so, are there any drawbacks such as drastically slowing the processor or memory access times?
I've found an online patch file for Windows 10, looks to be from the same guy who wrote similar for Windows 7 & 8 so hopefully it'll be 'safe'.
