Hey guys since yesterday my games kept crashing with the error "dxgi_error_device_hung" .

It happens with Mad Max and GTA V (when i play low requirements games it's ok)

I've seen that many people have this problem when they overclock their graph card and getting back to default settings it's solved.

The thing is that i run on stock settings ....i downclocked it from 1080Mhz to 1000 ...and the trouble's gone....

I always played these games on stock without problems and now i have to downclock it... is my GC dying ? What could have caused that ? How can i solve it ? I didn't buy that card to lower it specs it worked perfectly before :/

My drivers are up to date.

Specs :

Windows 10

R9 290X MSI Lightning Edition (driver: 16.8.2)

PSU: Corsair CX750 Bronze
