Windows 10 installed an AMD Driver!!

Windows 10 automatically downloaded and installed an AMD Driver for my MSI Radeon R9 390 GPU. As a result, my Crimson software got deleted. I was no longer able to control my fans or set up game profiles because the control panel had disappeared! All that was left was the shortcut to open the Crimson control panel. Clicking on the shortcut produced nothing!

I'm going to reinstall the Crimson software and Driver again but I just know W10 will eventually decide to download their version again because we can't stop these awful automatic downloads.

Can AMD do something about this?

Why did Windows 10 download an AMD Driver update for my R9 390 and delete my Crimson software in the process?

Any tips on how we can all avoid this?
