On several 1080 videos on Youtube, despite the settings box reporting "1080p" there seems to be a deinterlacion problem on my Radeon 7870, Win10, Crimson 16.8.1 system. Tried different settings but could not make it work.
Videos in question (on 1080 HD)
BMW F30 3-Series Factory Production Tour (1080p HD, 15:00) - YouTube (look at 00.34-00.40, terrible horizontal tearing)
Easy Pan Pizza - Foolproof Crust - Healthier, Low-Fat Pan Pizza! - YouTube (10.57, the tearing on the gloves is very pronounced, can't miss it, if you have the problem)
Any ideas? Thank you
That is just people uploading interlaced content instead of progressive. If you check out the stats for nerds feature it shows 1080 @ 30. I would assume Firefox has deinterlacing where Chrome does not.
