The freesync range for that monitor is 45 - 60fps so freesync will only work if the FPS is at those numbers. Better monitors have a better freesync range. You can also use the CRU utility to adjust the freesync range on some monitors. You need to be using a Displayport 1.2 cable and have DP 1.2 enabled in the monitor and have freesync enabled in the Radeon Settings. You also need the display refreshrate at desktop to match the game refreshrate settings and need to be running the games in full screen.
Aye, im using the 1.2 Display port cable that came with the monitor. I have it both enabled (freesync) on the monitor and through the crimson drivers. I am running fullscreen. These games dont have refreshrates displayed with their fullscreen resolutions (most games dont actually)
But both desktop and games are at 1440 resolution.
