Cannot change screen resolution after upgrade to Win10 (HD4200 and HD5000)

I have a recent problem when upgrading to Win10 from Win7 in a notebook

(model G62-a014SL, 64bit version)

The basic problem is: I cannot change resolution to typical 1366x768.

Going in Screen settings, I only have available 800x600 or 1024x768.

The graphic card in the Windows system is stuck at "Microsoft Basic display driver":

if I try to update this driver from a local folder in the PC,

it only proposes the same driver, although I try to install some (*.inf) files.

In the graphic card section I see for example 2GB of memory, but all the fields

are "none", like the card is not recognized by the system.

The notebook has the following 2 graphic cards:

a) AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000

b) ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200

I could install some legacy drivers for the boards, but at the end the settings

are not present in the Windows graphic card section, remaining with the Basic driver.

The CCC program has a super-limited set of options, none of them can adjust video parameters

I would need a step-by-step procedure in order to understand where is the problem

or if it's better going back to Win7.

Many thanks for the attention.
