I just got a decent PC last month, and realized that the graphics card is not as great as I hoped. I was looking at the RX 480 to play games at 1080p with good framerates. The card looked perfect until I realized it was recommended to have a 500w power supply, and I only have a 400w. I can afford a new power supply along with the graphics card, but I'm a beginner to building PCs and installing a whole new power supply seems like a pretty daunting task. Could I get away with a 400w power supply, should I look for a new graphics card, or should I get the 500w power supply?
