Spurious errors being reported for clCreateUserEvent call

Question asked by boxerab on Jul 3, 2016

I have the latest version of CodeXL, WIn 7 64 bit, with Cape Verde card.

I use custom user events in my kernels.

After profiling, CodexXL reports many errors for the clCreateUserEvent method.

For example:

clCreateUserEvent returns 0x000000004AE73460

When I click on the item, it shows me a line in the Call Index:

2745, clCreateUserEvent, 0x00000000003E7EC0;[CL_SUCCESS], 0x000000004AE73460, , , 0.0003, ,

But, when running the kernels, clCreateUserEvent always succeeds, and the kernel works.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Aaron
