Well i bought a second r7 370 from saphire and my computer doesnt detect it.... and i cant find the crossfire option in catalyst software, need help !
we need your syste specifications to help you better.
have you installed the latest driver?
Are both graphics cards display in crimson? (if so please upload a picture so we can check the pcie lane speed)
I got a amd A10 7700k overclock to 4.2 ghz, i use 2x R7 370 4G from saphire on a msi motherboard ( a88x gaming edition ) and i use 8 go of G Skill 1866 mhz ram with a custom heatsink.... i got the latest driver and in '' gpu-z / furmark / crimson '' the second card isnt detected..... but the card is working, the fan are working actually so i wonder why its not detected.....
when you open crimson and go to the system tab, are there 1 or 2 tabs of your gpu displayed? And just to check, have you connected the power supply connector to the second gpu?
yeah i plugged the 6 pin connector, and there is only 1 tab displayed....
The 370's require a crossfire bridge(there are a couple of different lengths).
I connected my crossfire bridge ( is there any way to connect it ? i mean do i have to connect it in a way or another, like up down or down up )
Got me there, last time I used a bridge there was only one way to connect(crossfire logo face up).
I don't have an APU, check your mobo manual for bios settings you may need to change (or ask on msi forums).
Just in case, what make/model psu ?.
I got an AMD A10-7700K i turn off the dual graphic option in bios so that the GPU core on the processor doesnt interfer with my graphic card.... maybe i should turn it on ?? or put it in Auto mode.....
I run an intel board, don't want to give you wrong info.
Are cards in correct slots ( pci e2(monitor connected to this card) & pci e5), graphics option in bios to PEG.
If the mobo manual in unclear on how to set it up, you need to ask msi forum or msi support.
yeah they are in right slot, graphic is on peg and on auto mode, i just cant activate crossfire option so that my second card is detected, wonder why cause i got latest driver....
Guess you checked Radeon additional settings again(or wherever they hide crossfire option now).
Maybe ray_m amdmatt can help further.
