I need to disable both of these as we're prompted for every user that logs in on a certain model of machine that we have. Preferably a registry setting that I can push out as we have 214 of these.
You can disable the automatic start of the program > Legacy branch being nagged about GCN driver updates
Unfortunately, this is not a good solution for 214 machines. I appreciate the response, though. I would rather not have to do this manually 214 times.
You can't control start-up programs?
I have never had to do that through Group Policy. I have removed registry
keys, but not all software runs from RunOnce. I have managed tasks and
services through GPO, as well. Do you have instructions on doing it
Will that stop the Catalyst Control Center prompt, as well?
It removed the Update prompt, but I still get the AMD Catalyst Control Center Setup Assistant on each startup and user.
On another machine, I don't see a key for the AMD Updater, but yet I'm getting the prompt to update.
I deleted the StartCCC from the Run Key. That seemed to stop both prompts. I'll just push that key out.
