Profile overdrive ignored, crosstalk to global overdrive

I've recently tried using the profile overdrive option to squeeze a few more fps out of my HD7850 in some games (e.g. Witcher 3).

Unfortunately, Crimson Edition/Radeon settings (tested on 16.5.1 and 16.5.3 on Win7 64bit) seems to ignore any profile overdrive I apply.

On top of it, the first time I apply an profile overdrive setting, the selected values are instead written to the Global Overdrive settings.

I.e. if I increase the chip frequency for the first time for a given game in its game profile, the values are applied to global overdrive as well.

Any further changes to the profile are then however only applied to the profile overdrive, but the actual values there are ignored - I only ever see effects from global overdrive.

If I want to reset/change the overdrive, I have to edit the global options.

Global Overdrive itself seems to work fine as expected - but any profile overdrive I set is ignored.

My question is - am I doing something wrong? Is this a bug?
