To fix this issue, open up your radeon settings then when that pops up click on the "gaming" tab then find the witcher 3 profile then under crossfire mode choose " amd pre defined profile and then search "witcher" then the witcher 3 profile will pop up click on that and you are good to go.
I hope this fixes your issue.
Tried, glitches remain.
This problem drivers.
Watch for this problem with 2015.05
amdmatt said something about it being due to the multiple software patches that might have rendered the crossfire profile somewhat unstable.
Then why doesn't AMD release a patch or a driver update to correct this issue, why are AMD customers always receiving the short end of the stick. they are promoting there new RX480 as a great card to crossfire..... and........ what about drivers? or are we meant to use the Microsoft generic display driver?
This is getting ridiculous guys and i dont see anyone talking or addressing these issues, the last official WHQL drivers was 3Months ago and they suck, and the beta ones to suck, doom is unplayable a AAA title, a game that defines PC gaming, and we are getting nothing from AMD except bull-crap.
*Crossfire is broken
*mantle is broken.
Until when are we gonna accept this poor treatment.
AMD please fix this in the Crimson 16.5.4 drivers as it got worse in Blood And Wine DLC for Witcher 3.
and fix Flickering In Crossfire mode!!!
Another game having problems on my r9 295x2, flickering and micro freezes and also downclocking if crossfire is disabled.
microstutter in blood and wine expanison using crossfire is indeed unbearable at the moment , hope amd fixes it
how many FPS do you have with crossfire enabled? The game becomes unstable over 60fps after +-15m...try out vsync to see if it helps
I have 7950 crossfire and imagine how bad this game runs on it, that i prefer play with just 1 card at 30-40 fps than 2 cards that run at 50-60 fps because for some reason only on this game crossfire never reach 100% usage on both cards and it's not cause of cpu bottleneck it's cause of bad drivers. In crossfire despite you see in fraps 50-60 fps seems that game runs at 25-30 fps in some areas cause of the big microstutter. And i think it's not problem of this game because if i run it just with 1 card the game runs perfect like any other games well optimiced. Also I hope some day we will get dark souls 3 crossfire profile... 4 drivers released since game launched and still no crossfire support...so sad.
Turning healtbar off fixes evrything in witcher 3 for me atm
getting 50 -60+ fps depending area im in
Using 2 x 7970
Flickering in menu is still present some times but thats no big deal, what is big deal is that water effects are still broken
The game engine itself for witcher 3 doesnt allow more than 60fps (in multi-gpu Setup), then it becomes unstable its not a matter of drivers, just Google it.
For the stutering i fixed this way, on Radeon settings I override application setting on tessellation to 16 and it stopped stuttering.
Im now trying r1st000 tip for the flickering and until now no problem.
