To whom it concerns:
I have upgraded to a new monitor, an LG 24" from an vizio 22". I now have a black band circling around the display. When I wrote to LG they said it was due to my graphics card. I have a win 10 upgrade from win 7 64 bit. I also have an ATI radeon hd 4600 graphics card. I do not wish to upgrade the graphics card as it works fine for my purposes and I do not have the money for a graphics card upgrade at the moment.
Will the AMD Catalyst 13.1 driver package for Microsoft Windows® 8 work with windows 10, or is there a Catalyst that will work with 10 and the Radeon 4600? I just want to adjust the display to fit the full width of the screen.
You'll need to roll back to your previous OS as there is very limited support for your HD4xxx series GPU on Windows 10. We have a driver available for it via Windows Update, but it does not include Catalyst Control Center which is needed to remove the black bars. More information on that here.
