as the title suggests
I'm guessing data mining customers.
well, I know at least disabling them has no negative effects that I notice..
I love replying to myself.. makes me feel soooo goooooood..
What are the name of said services. Is it AMD external events service and external events client that you are talking about?
I opened the file placement of said services and I have found out that they are placed in the "system 32" folder.
One was AMD External Events Utility, the other was Adaptive Sleep Service..
"Adaptive sleep service" sounds like a really good name for a mattress company
Adaptive sleep service could be that when you leave a computer, then it will start to "fall asleep" and when you touch a key on the keyboard and this program may help with this.
nope done put it to sleep and woke it back up with any key on my keyboard..
I think the other service has something to do with hotkeys.
(Puts tinfoil hat on) Maybe adaptive sleep service watch us while we sleep and sends the info to our governments to study our sleep patterns, so they can give us some propaganda about why we sleep wrong.
It wouldnt surprise me with all the data mining going on with windows 10 and just about any other program you install these days.
