I have on Asus desktop, the CPU temperature seems too high, but I am not sure, please see the image.
If too high, then what should I do.
Faulty sensor reading. You want the core temperature anyway, not the socket or package temperature.
Ok, I use HWinfo and get the reading like this, the package temperature is also very high. This PC's CPU fan is very lousy when I watch Netflix.
What is is the package anyway?
It's the sensor reading from the CPU socket, which is meaningless. What you want is to use either CoreTemp or AIDA64 and get the core temperature.
Agree with Black_Zion,
your Min. reading should not be booting to 83c should be more like 20c-35c at most loading desktop at login
Try either of these with First one first. Get the Pro-version if you can as well, both seem to work like a charm for me.

Open Hardware Monitor - Core temp, fan speed and voltages in a free software gadget
Hope this helps. Dont worry support for new or newer products happen, just takes time, input ect
