I think the motherboard model # is GN8DY. Its a DELL Vostro 3555(65 watt power supply) AMD A8-3500M Quad Core CPU(4GB cache 35 watt) which has an integrated graphics chip. This graphics chip takes care of all of the laptops graphics. The AMD A8 3500M quad-core processor has a standard clock frequency of 1.5 GHz/2.4 turbo. it has 6 GBs of RAM (1x 4 GB + 1x 2 GB) factory chips. i just bought now bought a 4 GB chip to max my ram at 8 GB....ive started running a certain app(its real-time platform)(it gives hundreds of processes every second in real-time) it has a bit of a lag, a small one, during times of highest volumes. still enough to interfere with the total efficiency of my work...will a A10 plug right in?? Maybe a A10 5750M?? which gives a 2500/3500(turbo)??? or a FX 7600P which is a 2700/3600(turbo) all are 35 watt 4GB just like my current.....but i have no idea if it just as simple as changing it out??? is it? can i just simply change it out??ok, maybe ill have cooling problems, but besides that, i can buy a more efficient cooling fan, simple.....does anyone know, help!!! more info on my laptop Review Dell Vostro 3555 Notebook - Reviews
