    vlc steady video

AMD Steady Video is not working on VLC. I try to enable DXVA 2.0 on the input codec but VLC would just crash or force close. It was defaulted to disable which plays the video but Steady Video is enabled. It's enabled when playing Windows Media Player.

I have the latest stable Crimson Driver. AMD A10-6800K, Radeon R7 370, Windows 10. VLC 2.2.3. I think at one point a special VLC version enabled steady video but never updated and rereleased.
