Faulty driver is not allowing me to boot correctly?

A day ago I was playing some PC games when my display suddenly flickered, turned purple and then seized completely. Upon a hard restart my computer would boot up to the Windows 7 splash logo before cutting to a black screen; no mouse pointer, no keyboard interactivity, nothing. After some research it seems to be that my display drivers are the culprit - I can boot up in safe mode just fine, and uninstalling the current Display Adapter - AMD Radeon R9 200 series - followed by a restart lets me boot up normally however I have no dedicated graphics card to run any of my games or recording software. Upon updating the drivers and then restarting my computer, I'm back to square one; can't boot normally, it goes to a dead black screen and I can only go back into safe mode to uninstall the drivers and start again. I'm in a panic since a working computer for games/software is going to be part of my livelihood, so aid will be appreciated.
