Only the OEM (HP, Dell, etc...) can tell you which processors can be used with their custom machines.
AMD E1-2500 is a soldered cpu and is not upgradeable.
??? what ???
The E1 CPU is NOT in a ZIF socket ? who in the "heck" dreamed up THAT bovine defecation ???
So ... not ONLY is it a SLOW & STODGY processor ... now I learn that it can NOT be upgraded ?
What kind of MESSAGE does this SEND to the loyal AMD consumers ?
They are only building "throw-away" economy Tower cases ???
Does this "SOLDERED-IN" solution apply to ALL of the E1 processors ?
(or just to THIS particular MACHINE) ???

All Kabini E class apus are soldered as far as I know. This systems are not desktop parts, despite being delivered in aios or small form factors pcs, they are designed for netbooks, and compete with Intel's atom line (also completely soldered),being a bit more power hungry than those while delivering better graphics.
