DiRT Rally + Crimson + Crossfire = HANG

Question asked by windnull on Apr 3, 2016

Hi All,

I have two Sapphire R9 Fury cards running in Crossfire (driven by a Core i7 6700k, 32GB DDR4, 1000w PS). DiRT Rally was working fine with Crossfire enabled on the old pre-Crimson drivers (MIN of 93fps in the benchmark at 1440p + Ultra settings ), but after upgrading to 16.1, and 16.3.2, I can't start a single race. I can browse the game menus, change graphics options and such, but the moment I start a race the game hangs with a black screen. My PC has even rebooted a couple times after the hang. NOTE - no overclocking involved her, either. This looks to be directly related to the driver.

Has anyone else seen this? Ideas? Workarounds?
