Is that right?
Is it 8 cores, and 1 shader pipeline each core?
ι dont know that but at rise of the tomb rider with dx12 enabled i got lower fps about 10per secont.
Tomb raider is not dx12. It has a dx11 engine, and just bolted on some dx12 features
Ashes of the Singularity is.
For a start you need windows 10 for dx12.
And, they would not have hyper threading enabled which is what async shading is.
They have NVIDIA gameworks all through it.
Ashes is the only dx12 game out now.
NO rise of the tomb rider enables recently to run at dx12 .the option is on the main menu of the game and to settings when you started it,you check the dx12 box and the game runs with dx12 . you can readread about it at the steam community.
Ashes of the singularity is a true dx12 engine. It was made from the ground up.
Tomb raider is a dx11 engine, foundation, and they just patched it with a feature.
Furthermore, they would not have Async turned on, and hence no hyper threading. Nvidia cards cant hyper thread.. There is nothing to HYPERTHREAD>
You can run dx12 with all the features and everything turned off, does that still make it good?
