Is there going to be an optimized driver released for "The Division" before it releases??? I'm just curious because the performance on my R9 380 was sub-par during the closed and open beta.
It's not always GPU makers who are responsible for optimizing games.
Sure, proper drivers help, but in my view it is as much the game devs job to make games work properly. It's an easy pass-off for devs to blame drivers instead of their crappy coding.
True... but AMD hasn't released an optimized driver for the 300 series cards since last August!
There is going to be a day one patch by Ubisoft.
As long as its not NVidia optimized the game should be ok.
'Udontplay' DRM is the question.
The beta ran pretty good for me. I have a fury.
Crimson 16.2 was optimised for The Division and we've since released 16.2.1.
Triple Crossfire is flickering and stuttering like crazy for me currently using 16.2.1
We are aware investigating reports of flickering in The Division with AMD CrossFire enabled. Apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Also Freesync doesn't work when Crossfire is enabled. Crossfire issues on new games seems like par for the course for Crossfire owners. Seems like its been this way since forever.
People using singular GPU's starting at the 6000 series are having the same problem.
Nvidia has already released two graphics updates...both of which made the game unplayable. They now are telling it.s users to delete them and revert to the last WHQL drivers.
AMD, Nvidia evenly matched in The Division, first game-ready Nvidia drivers problematic | ExtremeTech
Yes, its weird a game that had a longer beta but now has bad driver support. Game seems to run ok on the one Fury X card at 1440p Ultra settings it seems to stay around 50-60fps range most of the time. Sure would like to use the second one in Crossfire but the flickering would give me a headache I'm sure.
Cant blame AMD for any game released on 'UdontPlay'
