So hello I'm building myself a new pc and I will use an AMD A10 7850k with a Asus radeon R9 380x strix 4Gb everyone says that that isn't good ofr gaming. But I think it should do work for 1080p gaming
It'll be fine for 1920x1080 gaming, but you would be much better off going with the AMD Athlon X4 860K Kaveri Quad-Core 3.7 GHz Socket FM2+ 95W AD860KXBJABOX Desktop Processor (BLACK EDITION) - Newegg.com instead since you are getting the 380X, it's $45 cheaper and you would not be using the 7850s graphics anyway.
I don't mean to play games on more then 1080p. What if I go with the AMD Athalon X4 880K the new one?
The 880K isn't in stock at any retailers.
Is there a big difference in FPS betwen AMD 7850K an the Athalon 870K ??
They're the same processor, the 870K just lacks a GPU component, which like I said isn't needed since you are using a discrete card.
And is there a big difference in FPS??
No difference in FPS,since the integrated GPU is not used when adding a dedicated video card such as yours. You can use the integrated gpu in the AMD APU with a dedicated solution but this only works if you also buy a low-end GPU such as an r 240,your 380x is a quantum leap over what the IGP can do.
The good thing about having an APU is you can semi-retire the machine and still have a very useful HTPC or server. The graphics card can migrate to your next build.
